Hydroblast Road Marking, Bitumen, Rubber, Oils and Fuel Removal

W J Hydroblast is the largest and most experienced contractor of ultra high pressure water removal with in the UK. Established in 2005, W J Hydroblast uses the very latest equipment and technology and has a fleet of Hydroblast 8000 and 4000 machines that cover the whole of the UK. Since the formation of the company we have found the machines are so versatile that we are leaders in our Highways, Aviation and Decorative Surfacing markets, not only removing road markings, bitumen, rubber, oils and fuels but we have the ability to increase micro and macro texture to the existing highway surfaces, which in turn makes the road that we service a safer place to be.

Hydroblast 4000

The 4000 is powered by a 40000 psi (2750 bar) water blaster operating at 6 gallons (22.7 liters) per minute. This machine, with its versatile and maneuverable buggy, is ideal for the removal of road markings, high friction surfacing, highway spillages, retexturing and aircraft stand cleaning. It has a cleaning width of 150mm to 350mm.

Hydroblast 8000

The 8000 has all the benefits of the 4000 machine but has the added versatility of a bumper mounted head. The cleaning width is between 150mm to 700mm and has a larger power unit operating 12 gallons (45.42 liters) a minute at 40000 psi (2750 bar). This increase in power is noticed in the increase in productivity when it comes to larger projects. It is ideal for highway retexturing, rubber removal on airports as well as the removal of road marking, high friction surfacing, highway spillages and bitumen.

Both machines have the unique vacuum recovery system that separates the liquids from the solids, which makes disposal easy. All of our operatives are registered for NVQ with the CITB, hold CSCS cards and the company is BSI accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and we are in the process of obtaining BS EN ISO 14001: 2004.
